Request from our gardening club.... The gardening club have come up with a long term plan on how to make the school garden even bigger and better than ever – we want to provide an outdoor educational site that produces lots of organic food for the canteen, food technology, pupils, staff and the community! We have made a list of materials we would love to get our hands on whilst being as sustainable as possible and sourcing them second hand. If you have any of the following items, please get in touch with Mr Anderson to pick them up or drop them off at the main reception. · Wellies, coats, gloves, overalls (weatherproof gardening clothes!) · Wooden pallets, planks, sleepers, MDF boards, logs. Any reusable building supplies. · Shovels, spades, rakes, hoes, axes, hammers. Any building tools or supplies. · Watering cans, piping, guttering, IBC water containers, large plastic sheets to catch water – we are desperate for water storage! · Old sinks, baths, old horse boxes, sheds, shipping containers. · Wire netting, chicken fencing, wooden or metal posts. · Old tractor or car tires, large plant pots. Please get in touch if you have any of these items you could donate, or know anyone who might be able to help out with our search! Mr Anderson
