Thinkuknow - home

#NeatherdWellbeing - the first in a series from the indomitable Mr O'Brien. As you know, schools across the UK are now closed to most families. This is a difficult time for most parents. There is a really good new website available to provide you with support and resources to help you learn about online safety at home with your child. This is the website: https://ift.tt/1m4n0dF This website contains helpsheets and 15 minute activities you can do with your child and will be updated regularly. I often see a divide in meetings about online safety where parents want to know more about the online world and young people have all that knowledge but don't use it as wisely as they could. This could be an opportunity to learn together and create a more open culture in some homes about internet use. It's also something to timetable into the day. Please encourage your young people to read my regular safeguarding and wellbeing emails on nsix. Good health at this time, Nick O'Brien Assistant headteacher, Safeguarding Lead
