Neatherd High School: What happens on an 'INSET Day'? These mysterious days in which teachers go into school, leaving their children behind to have an extra day off at home. Today, teachers at Neatherd have been sharing outstanding practice across departments; working on their action research aimed at further improving work in areas such as homework, special educational needs and disabled students, teaching to the top, improving attitude to learning and so on; working on the new assessment criteria for year seven, and sharing strategies for working with under-achieving students in Year 11.
