Basketball News! The year 11 boys’ Basketball team were entered into the Norfolk and District Basketball league for the season 2015/16. Teams were split up into two leagues of 5 teams, with each team playing each other once. The winners of each group then playing a final match to see which team wins the championship. Team Neatherd’s group consisted of Aylsham, Reepham, Sewell Park and Ormiston Victory. Neatherd results were as follows: Neatherd 19 v Aylsham 7 Neatherd 68 v Reepham 18 Sewell Park 16 v Neatherd 27 Neatherd 34 v Ormiston 12 Neatherd therefore have won their group comfortably winning all of their games. The team will soon find out their fate, which is looking like a tie against Notre Dame High School, Norwich from the other group. Just want to add a huge congratulations to all members of the year 11 team and those year 10 students who have played and supported when needed. This is Neatherd’s first final for a few years and it’s a huge achievement from a talented year group. The boys have played some excellent team basketball, not only have they taken advice on board then have demonstrated it with excellence.
