Neatherd High School: Sports News: Hello all, We entertained Thetford Academy’s Yr 7’s and 8 teams at home tonight. For our Yr 7’s it was their first ever game, so to say they were a little excited was an understatement! And rightly so!! So was I! Obviously there is work to do. However, from the start to the final batter, the girls took on board advice, and made a lot of progress from start to finish. Couldn’t ask for more. Oh yes, and we won, by half a rounder!! 8 ½ – 8. It was also the first game of the season for our Yr8’s. Didn’t show, went out and performed with confidence. Again, a great game, everyone ‘up for it’. If you live within a 5 mile radius I’m sure you could hear them! Lots of encouragement. They won 12- 6 ½. Well done all. Not a bad way to spend an evening. Wayland next week! COACH TOPPING
