Neatherd High School: Rounders News! “Hello all We had a lovely time at the rounders tonight. Last week we didn’t, enough said! This week we played like we are able to, confidently and consistently and therefore our Yr 8, 9 and 10 teams won: 18-5 ½ , 19-2, and 21 – 7 ½ respectively. Our Yr 7s just lost out, a 19-18 win to Iceni, but they played a lot better. Both hitting and fielding continues to develop and improve. It was very noisy (as always). Brilliant encouragement from team mates in each game. Good sportsmanship demonstrated in each game. It was lovely to hear how complimentary staff were about our girls, not just for their playing skills. The same can also be said for their girls. A great way to spend an evening. Thanks to all teachers who missed girls from 3.20pm. It’s lovely to win! I’m also very pleased we got another fixture completed without it raining!! Yr 10 and 9 tourneys next week!” Mrs Topping
