Y7s enjoying the captivating talk about WWII captured Air Transport Auxiliary pilots and how they inspired our visiting author Elizabeth Wein to write Code Name Verity and Rose Under Fire. Students were intrigued by the torture the captives had to endure asking great questions about her life, books, writing and her various book cover designs.
