Neatherd High School: Y10 Football News, Coach Barron reports: "The year 10 boys went to Thetford tonight for their second fixture of the season. We played some very strong football and really should have won the game comfortably! However, we lost 2-1! Go figure! We went down the 15% gradient hill in the first half and had effort after effort on goal, but only managed to score 1 through Bailey Barrett. Towards the end of the first half Thetford managed to break our offside trap and slot past Lewis Pears to equalise. Going up the hill second half actually suited us a little better, we played some great football and had about 9, 1 on 1 chances where we could have scored, unfortunately it was them who got the winner with 10 minutes to go.
