Turnout is high for the first session of the Neatherd General Election. Queuing down the Society & Ethics corridor to the official Polling Station, electors are checked on the electoral register and given a ballot paper. They mark their X next to their choice of candidate in a secret booth, then place their folded ballot paper in the box for the count later today. Years 7 and 8 also had an election special assembly where they learnt about how the British voting system works.
