Neatherd celebrates LGBT History Month 2017. Today we welcomed award winning author, journalist and activist Juno Dawson. Juno talked openly about LGBT, her own transgender experiences and transition, identity, being yourself, having nourishing friends and taking care of your wellbeing to Y8, Y9 and 10 supporting her school role model for ‘Stonewall’. Students asked mature, well thought out questions and have gained a greater insight into the LGBT community. Following the talks Juno had a relaxed informal lunch with our ‘Strive for Pride’ group who presented her with a gift pack from Neatherd.
