Neatherd High School: Inter-house hockey Today was the turn of the Year 8s to represent their house in Hockey house-matches during lunchtime. Round Robin tournament, games of 7 a side, 10 minutes one way with a two minute change over meant we were busy, busy busy. But Houses Kett, Carter, Cavell and Fry took it in their stride and some great hockey ensued. RESULTS: CARTER 1st place. Beat Kett 1-0, Beat Cavell 4-0. Drew with Fry 0-0. Total 13 points CAVELL 2nd place. Beat Fry 2-0. Drew with Kett 2-2. Lost to Carter 4-0. Total 8 points FRY 3rd place. Beat Kett 1-0, Drew with Carter, Lost to Cavell 2-0. (Total 8 points. Joint 2nd with Cavell on points but lost on goal difference by 3 goals). KETT 4th place. Drew with Cavell 2-2. Lost to Carter 1-0. Lost to Fry 1-0. Total 5 points. Well done to all the pupils who took part. it really was great to see so many of them working competitively together for their houses!
