Year 7 Inter-house Hockey! Phew! Well, that was brilliant! To finish off our run of Hockey House-matches it was the turn of the Yr 7s today. 10 in a squad, 7 a side, 10 minutes each way, with a 2 min changeover. We have some really strong hockey players in Yr 7 which made for some great end to end hockey! Kett, Cavell and Carter each had a full squad. Unfortunately for Fry they were down to 6 players, but they still continued to work hard, with effort and enthusiasm! RESULTS: KETT 1st place. Beat Cavell 2-0, beat Carter 3-1, beat Fry 3-0. Total points 15. CAVELL 2nd place. Beat Carter 1-0, beat Fry 3-0, lost to Kett 2-0. Total points 11. CARTER 3rd place. Beat Fry 6-1, lost to Kett 3-1, lost to Cavell 1-0. Total points 7. FRY 4th place. Lost to Cavell 3-0, lost to Carter 6-1, lost to Kett 3-0. Total points 3. Well done to everyone!! Big thanks to Mr Fisher who umpired Pitch 2 and to Mrs Steward who helped. Coach Topping
