Calling out to our community villages, hamlets and isolated farms and cottages. We want to know what the weather and roads are like where you are. As we are in the unique situation of having children come from all parts of West and Mid Norfolk, from Norwich to Kings Lynn and from Fakenham down to beyond Watton, we need you to share how things are in your area. Jay and the site team are currently checking out the health and safety of the site (imagine icicles, ice, flooding etc), so please let us know if it is safe to travel in. Pictures of snowmen (and women) and other experiences of The Beast From The East are more than welcome too!

Weather permitting, Tuesday is FLD2, pupils should all come to school in uniform in the normal way, apart from Year 8 who need to be in non-uniform / warm clothes for Wroxham, if they have signed up to the trip. Year 7 have a day of Computer Programming, Year 8 are going to Wroxham to undertake fieldwork about Tourism and Year 9 have a day investigating Crime and Consequences. Year 10 will be working on the core subjects of English and Maths, with year 11 focusing on Science.

Neatherd will be closed again on Friday, 2nd March. Continuing adverse weather conditions are making travel to school too unsafe. We hope to be open on Monday as the weather warms up later this weekend. Huge thank you to Jay and the site team for their work clearing, salting and gritting the school site to help the thaw. Enjoy this precious time with family and friends and stay safe.

Message for Y9 parents/carers. Please be aware that the deadline for return of Year 9 options forms has been put back to Monday 5th March. This is due to the current school closure because of poor weather.

A message for Year 8 parents/carers: A reminder that the year group will be visiting Wroxham and the Norfolk Broads on Tuesday. Payment and consent for this trip would usually close tomorrow at 3:30, but we will extend the deadline until 9:00am on Monday morning as a result of the school closure. Payment and consent for the trip is still available on ParentPay. Unfortunately any student that has not paid or provided written consent by Monday morning will not be able to go on the trip.
