Normandy trip update. Coaches have left base and heading for Eurotunnel. Travel operator is attempting to get coach on earliest available train. Travel agent is keeping school updated with progress, which we will pass on to parents when we receive firm news. Given that this is Bastille Day in France, the crossings to England are much busier than normal.

Dereham Neatherd High School - Year 8 Bramley Lakes Trip ? July 2017
Bramley Lakes kit list http://ift.tt/2tUM3tU Here are further details regarding Curriculum Enhancement Week (July 10th –14th). Pupils will be split into 2 groups – each group will be based at school for 2½ days and at Bramley Lakes for another 2½. One of the in-school days will be organised by the Science department. Pupils will be given a timetable for the whole week at a later date. During the 2½ days at school they will take part in Initiative Tests and will need a blindfold. This will be outside whatever the weather, so suitable, sensible clothes need to be worn. Pupils will also be Ten Pin Bowling in Dereham. At Bramley Lakes they will be supervised on the following activities: Abseiling, Climbing Wall, Zip Wire, Canoeing, Raft Building, Archery and Low Ropes course. This will start early in the morning and pupils are staying overnight in Tents. Pupils will be outside for the whole time and need sensible outdoor clothes for this period, as well as: A Packed lunch for the first lunchtime at Bramley Lakes. 2 PAIRS OF SHOES because one pair will get wet Personal Toiletries: towel/toothbrush/soap etc. Sleeping bag or single Duvet Pillow Sun Cream/Waterproofs Knife, Fork, Spoon, Plate, Bowl and Mug Plastic Bag for dirty clothes Spending money (for tuck shop - optional) No Phones or MP3s are allowed, but pupils may store Phones with staff for emergency use only. Bedtime will be at 10.30pm, or at staff discretion. Pupils going to Bramley Lakes on the Monday will meet in the Gymnasium at 8.45am. The address of the Centre is Dog Lane, Horsford, Norwich.
