MMP Hands-On Maths Fair This free family maths event is part of the 2020 Cambridge Science Festival. The afternoon is an opportunity to explore, experiment, discover, question and develop problem-solving skills with hands –on mathematical activities and games for all ages; so, the whole family can get involved. Rugby news - County Cup Semi Final vs Aylsham - from the inimitable reportage of Mr Miller, "We won - Some of the opposition had grown since we drew with them last year and looked like Logan's bigger cousins! They scored 3 tries in the first 15 minutes – so I relaxed as this was clearly going to be a stuffing! With the last minute of the first half we scored – ‘nice effort’ I thought Second half we scored 2 very ugly tries – ‘brilliant’ Then they scored with 5 minutes to go – so it was almost over. Then our Captain Pete Thomas scored – So if we kicked the conversion – we would win – Charlie Summer kicked it! Mayhem!! However – we play Wymondham Rugby Club (sorry Wymondham High School) in the final, and they are a step up in class – but you never know! You will recognise the Y9 players – they should have a stupid big grin on their faces!"
