Free school meals, school meals and milk - Norfolk County Council

Have you checked if your child can qualify for free school meals? Around 10% are currently registered and received up to £2.30 a day for a hot meal and dessert. Even if your child does not want the free school meal, you should still apply and return the form on the linked website as the school receives extra funding, all of which is spent on pupils' progress and well-being. Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following: - Income Support - income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance - income-related Employment and Support Allowance - support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 - the guaranteed element of Pension Credit - Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to - Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190) - Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit - Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get) http://bit.ly/31PaNlC

A Message regarding Activities Week: "There are several students who still have an outstanding balance on Parent Pay for their Activities Week trips. Please be aware that the final closing date for these payments is tomorrow morning at 9am. If any payments are still outstanding after this time, then students will be removed from the trips and placed on school-based activities instead."

A reminder message regarding the Activities Week: Further to our payment information letter, there are a significant number of payments outstanding for each respective trip. Please can we request that payment is made via parent pay at your earliest convenience or if you wish to pay by cheque that you ask your student to take these direct to the Finance office. Message from Miss Clarke: Invites have been sent out to all the local primary schools to take part in our Primary Maths Quiz which takes place on Wednesday 3rd July. If you have not been given the message by your Primary School please ask your head teachers, or let me know and I can send it direct if you would like to take part. It was a great day last year and gave the pupils some challenging questions to sink their teeth in to! We’d love to see more teams taking part this year, we can even help with transport if this is what is holding you back. Entries by next week please!
